Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 is Microsoft's replacement for the Xbox and was officially launched on May 12, 2005. Microsoft has really beefed up the style on the Xbox 360 and you can now stand the console vertically or horizontally (just like the Sony PS2).

Microsoft have developed the Xbox 360 with IBM, ATI, Samsung, and SiS. The Xbox 360 comes with a very powerful 3.2GHz CPU and 512MB of RAM memory. Stunning graphics is delivered via a custom made ATI chip which can deliver true 720p and 1080i wide-screen HDTV images.

Xbox Live

A core feature is the Xbox Live service, which allows you to compete against other players online. It also gives you the ability to download arcade games and other content, such as game trailers, TV shows, movies and music videos.

Media Center Extender

The Media Center Extender is an amazing feature that allows you to stream video, audio and photos from any PC that is networked to the game console and runs Windows Media Center Edition.
Media can also be streamed on the Xbox 360 from digital cameras, portable music players and Windows XP PC's.

Gaming Format

The Xbox 360 uses the post popular gaming format, HD-DVD, unlike the Sony PS3, which uses the more advanced but less popular Blu-ray format. The Xbox 360 is backwards compatible with the major Xbox games.

The Microsoft Xbox 360 is a fantastic 7th generation game console and is highly recommended.
